ASD Prometheus

Welcome on the ASD Prometheus, the flagship of the 5th Republican fleet. Grand Admiral Simon is commanding many more Stardestroyers from the bridge of this ship. Several of the commanding officers of the 5th fleet have their offices onboard of this ship.

The Amageddon-Class Stardestroyer was designed two years bevor Endor by Halmstedt Werke (Waffentechnologie) and Kuat Drive Yards. The scientists as well as the Imperial command staff hoped to get the control about space back with the ASD. But the emperor needed his resources to build his second Death Star, so KDY needed three years until they were able to start the production.

The Prototype of the ASD Ship Class was the ASD Prometheus. It's first asignment was in the 11th regular fleet, under the command of Admiral Michael Simon. 11th fleet including ASD Prometheus spend several years far away from the galactic core. After returning ship got seriously damaged in a few battles with the Rebel Alliance, and got reasigned to the 5th regular fleet as flagship.

Being one of the oldest ships in the fleet the Prometheus has been upgraded and modified a several times, but the ship still looks like a remnant of the Galactic Civil War. Serving on the Prometheus often leaves the same impression, cause everything pretty much looks the same as in the Imperial Remant, Uniforms, ships, design. Sure the Imperial seal has been exchanged through the Republican one on every uniform, helmet, vehicle and what else, but besides that it would be really difficult for someone to identify this as Republican ship.
