Naval Academy Coruscant

The Naval Academy Coruscant is one of the biggest intitutes of the Republican armed forces. The academy trains many cadets on their way to officer in several Republican fleets such as the 5th fleet. Many officers of the 5th fleet return to the academy for some weeks to refrech their knowledge or take advanced courses. Officers of the 5th fleet are also asigned to the academy to train the cadets.

Order of Jedi

The Jedi Order is much more then just a religious group in the Republic. The order is the ideological authority within the Republic, but more, in many parts of the galaxy the order was the only authority besides local governments. While the senat were deciding about laws, taxes and relationships between the planetary systems, the Jedi Order was the force behind the Republic holding it together.

There are many force sensitive beings in the 5th fleet as well, they are usually in the Jedi Order as well. The Order of Jedi is administrating these individuals and overviews their progress in force based skills and lightsaber development.

The New Republican News is the main information source for members of the New Republican armed forces. All over the galaxy the institute provides the soldiers of the Republic with relevant informations about what is happening in the known universe. The 5th fleet like other fleets surely has it's own section within the New Republican News.

Republican Diplomatic Corps

Since the earliest time remembered in the history of the Republic diplomacy is the strongest weapon of the Republic. Several officers of the New Republic work in the Diplomatic Corps to open contacts with other beings in this universe and strengthen the ties with our allied forces.

HWWT manifactures a high percentages of the military equipment of the 5th fleet. They are always working on better engines, lasers and shields of the 5th fleet capitol ships and starfighters. Several officers of the 5th fleet work together with the scientists of HWWT on the development of new technologies for the fleet.
