The New Republican News are the news division of the 5th fleet since early 2001, when Captain Perja and Rear Admiral Matt Sifi gave out the first issues. The news were starting to replace the fleet command newsletters phasing out in this time. Since this time the New Republican News brought out a couple if magazines more or less regulary about the news and events happening in the fleet. The magazines are usually out of an In-Character perspective. Over the years besides Perja and Matt Sifi, Commodore Darth Boy, Fleet Admiral Commskywalker and Commodore Wolverine released a lot of newsletters and magazines in several different designs.
